Writing is at the core of my creative process.
Every great project begins with a great script, and I love nothing more than bringing stories to life on the page.
I’ve been lucky to be entrusted with telling a wide range of stories – some important, some thrilling, some tragic and others a lot of fun. I love the unique challenge each project presents – of diving deep into research and interpreting it into storytelling that is compelling, surprising and enlightening.
In recent years, I have expanded beyond the straight documentary format into docudrama and fully-scripted projects. I take tremendous joy in getting to express my imagination on the page through scene work and dialogue.
Below are links to samples of several types of projects I’ve been privileged to write. (Click on the underlined show title for access):
Scripted Drama: Devil's Advocate (sample)
Docu-drama: Pope v. Hitler
Talent-Led Doc: Bill Nye's Global Meltdown
Show Treatment: The Girls in the Barrels
Pitch Deck (writing & design): Building Earth
I always welcome inquiries about writing projects and would be happy to share other samples that might have more relevance to a project you have in mind.
